Welcome to the Open Competitions page for the Valley Waste Resource-Management.
Electronic submissions will now be permitted when applying for tenders. The process to apply for tenders is outlined below.
- Competitions can be found through the website in the "Current Competitions" tab. When registering for a competition, please ensure that all information provided is correct, specifically the email addresses.
- A link will be sent to the supplied email address which will allow you to download all the required documents. Please check both your inbox, and junk/spam boxes when searching for the email.
- Any changes to the competition, such as addendums, or adjustments in the due date will also send an email to ensure that you stay informed about the competition
- Ask questions regarding a competition within the question period
- The submission box only accepts PDF's and common photo or video files. Files such as word documents, or excel sheets will not be accepted through the software
- PDF's should be attached as one document when possible. If not possible, PDF's should be explicitly labelled part 1, part 2, etc
- Limit hyperlinks within documents, which could cause links to become broken, and information to be omitted
- Submissions will be completed through the dashboard link, sent to the email that was submitted. Submissions can take time to upload depending on the size and internet connection. Submit a few minutes early to ensure that any technical difficulties are handled before the submission box closes
- It is strongly recommended that submissions are only made after the question period for a tender has finished. This means no further addendums released, and no need for resubmission based on new information released
- If you would like to withdraw a submission, please email procurement@vwrm.com with the reference number provided during the initial submission
- Changes made to submissions must be done before the closing date and time. To make changes, a resubmission must be done. To resubmit a submission, please contact procurement@vwrm.com with the reference number provided during the initial submission to have the previous submission removed. Then, resubmit by clicking "I want to start over" on the dashboard for whichever submission you would like to resubmit. After this, you must reregister and follow the new dashboard link
If you have not received a dashboard link in your email within 24 hours of applying for a competition, please reach out to procurement@vwrm.com.
We have included a Who has downloaded this? link for each competition. The purpose of this is to connect interested parties to each other, such as subcontractors to contractors. We can remove your company name from this public list if you send an email to procurement@vwrm.com requesting removal.
